How it works:
Step 1: Complete the application
Fill out the online application form.
Step 2: Provide additional information
The program team may contact you for further information to support the matching process.
Step 3: Matching
Our team carefully reviews your experience, skills, and goals to pair you with a mentee who will benefit most from your guidance and support.
Step 4: Onboarding and training
Complete the mentor training content in the Program Hub on
gplearning to ensure you feel fully prepared and supported for your mentoring relationship.
Support and guidance:
- Concerns about your mentee? Contact the RACGP Mentoring Program team for a confidential discussion or speak with a colleague or fellow mentor
- Mandatory reporting: Mentors must be aware of legislative requirements in their state or territory. If a mentee may pose a risk to the public, you may have a legal obligation to report. For guidance, refer to Ahpra or your medico-legal provider
