The clinical audit focuses on mental health and forms part of RACGP Rural's efforts to increase accessibility to non-procedural skills training for our members.
In collaboration with mental health experts and the Rural Education Committee, RACGP Rural has developed an online clinical audit tool with a particular focus on mental health.
The activity will enable GPs to assess their clinical skills, research the effectiveness of the mental health treatment strategies used in the practice and identify any gaps in their mental health training.
This analysis and consequently implemented new strategies can help improve the provision of quality care for the practice’s mental health population. The clinical audit is eligible for 40 Category 1 QI&CPD points and qualifies as a Quality Improvement activity. The activity is offered to all RACGP members at no additional cost and is accessible via the gplearning platform.
