Early Onset Bowel Cancer and Challenging GI Cases

GI Education Workshop

Join us for a practical workshop focused on early onset bowel cancer, challenging GI presentations, and common diagnostic pitfalls in general practice. Through interactive case discussions, you’ll refine your approach to rectal bleeding, reflux, gluten sensitivity, functional disorders and IBD. The workshop will also explore the emerging evidence around the role of the gut microbiome and provide GPs with practical strategies to support and guide their patients.

Presented by Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital's Gastroenterologist Consultant Dr Nabil Saddique; Ele Stojanoska, Director, Dietetic Gut Clinic; and specialist GP Dr Cory Lei.

CPR for GPs - Full

This CPR course is run in conjunction with Medical Training Solutions and provides participants with the necessary cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge and skills required in general practice.

The course is facilitated in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and is instructed by accredited Australian Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support instructors.

Completion of this course meets the GP specialist high-level requirement for the 2026-28 triennium.

Clinical Update Day

Join us for a full day of practical, evidence-based updates across key areas of general practice. The program brings together expert speakers for short presentations and panel discussions covering developments in respiratory care, men’s and women’s health, antibiotic and cancer-screening guidelines, and improving care for vulnerable populations. We’ll also explore medico-legal considerations and strategies for supporting the wellbeing of GP colleagues. A sundowner at the end of the day offers a relaxed opportunity to continue conversations and connect with peers. Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the evening sundowner are included.
