SA Fellowship and Awards Ceremony 2024


The SA Fellowship and Awards Ceremony is the premier event on the RACGP SA calendar. It is an opportunity for the general practice community to honour New Fellows and celebrate their achievement of Fellowship and acknowledge award recipients.

All members of the general practice community are invited to attend the ceremony with colleagues, family and friends. A cocktail function follows the formal program.

Time: 2.00-5.30 pm (Gowning and rehearsal for New Fellows and award recipients from 1.00 pm)

SA Health Update: Re-emergence of 'old Diseases'

Professor Nicola Spurrier, Chief Public Health Officer, will discuss the re-emergence and rising incidence of some 'old diseases', syphillis, tuberculosis and measles. In this presentation Professor Spurrier will discuss the disease red flags to be aware of and pathways for treatment.

Nantu Wama Parkrun

parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, or run 5k, volunteer or spectate. parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit, and no one finishes last.

The RACGP has partnered with parkrun Australia to promote the health and wellbeing of our communities. GP practices are encouraged to develop close links with their local parkrun to become a parkrun practice.

RACGP SA is pleased to be taking part in the Nantu Wama parkrun (Lefevre Park, North Adelaide). Members are invited to meet at College House prior to the parkrun, with light refreshments available at College House following the event.
