Four sessions will be delivered at each ceremony in Canberra with a limit of 20-25 New Fellows. Guest numbers will be capped at three per New Fellow.

A 2022 Update on Small and Large Airway Obstruction

specialists will provide an update on small and large airway obstruction. Large airway obstruction is an uncommon but important differential diagnosis to the more commonly diagnosed "airways disease" spectrum of conditions. Unsurprisingly the management often tried for common airway diseases is unhelpful in such conditions and may lead to unwanted outcomes. In this presentation, clues to suspect large airway obstruction is explained and avenues to investigate and manage these conditions are explored. Specialists will also discuss 'How to Spot the NOT COVID cough and how to quickly assess when a patient has asthma plus something else that needs different treatment.
