Practice Experience Program Specialist (PEP SP) participants are required to meet the continuing professional development (CPD) requirements as per the Medical Board of Australia’s Registration standard: CPD.
The RACGP has a comprehensive CPD program available to you, with streamlined systems for logging your progress. You can go to Your home for CPD for more information on the program.
As a participant in the PEP SP, you can use custom quick logs to record key activities you undertake as part of the program to meet your CPD requirements. This is a new and streamlined way of logging your CPD activities, available to PEP SP participants only.
The CPD dashboard has a quick log function that allows you to record any non-RACGP CPD Approved activity that you do and find professionally valuable. Quick log lets you easily upload evidence to your CPD activities.
Your CPD requirements
Each calendar year you’ll need to record 50 hours of CPD across different activity types. There are some required activity types, but also flexibility in how you make up some of your hours. You can find definitions of the CPD activity types here.
