Supervision during your consolidation phase

Supervision is required until you attain Fellowship. In consolidation, your supervisor is required to be with you at the training site for a minimum of 50% of the time. This supervision can be provided by the nominated supervisor or a supervisory team.

The level of supervision you receive during your FSP consolidation phase will depend on your existing skills and competency, and the structures at your training site. Your supervisor should attend in person as required and will monitor your training site until you are awarded Fellowship. If you need to change supervisor in the consolidation phase of the FSP, you’re required to submit a change in circumstances request form via the FSP portal and pay an administration fee. The supervisor needs to meet the same accreditation requirements as while you were completing the education program.
