Area of research interest/activities/expertise or opportunities for Academic Post projects: Our department has four areas of research excellence and registrar projects should sit within one of these four themes - Prevention and Management of Chronic and Complex Illness, Vulnerable Populations, Guideline Development and Implementation, Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health. We are also happy to work with registrars to develop education focussed projects that address delivery of the medical curriculum to medical students.

Teaching opportunities: AP registrars will be part of a teaching team, teaching four rotations of GP clinical skills to medical students in the 4th year of the Monash medical program. Teaching occurs face to face, primarily in small group settings at the Alfred Hospital campus, and there is opportunity to contribute to OSCE and other examination formats.
