This notice is to advise that the RACGP has updated the Assessment and Examinations Candidate Handbook Part 2. The updated handbook will come into immediate effect, superseding the previous version as of Tuesday, 29 April 2025.

Reworded to clarify that applicants must demonstrate ‘extenuating circumstances’ when applying for special arrangements and for consistency with the terminology used in the Assessments Special Arrangements Policy.

Link added to the Fellowship Exams Policy and the Fellowship Exam Attempt Policy for more information on standard suspensions

On the day of the exam - Registration
|
Instructions on when to arrive at the exam venue changed from ’60 minutes before the scheduled commencement time’ to ‘during your allocated registration timeslot’ to reflect a change in the process

On the day of the exam – Permissible and non-permissible items
|
Sections on ‘Authorised items’ and ‘Banned items’ replaced with ‘Permissible and non-permissible items’ which includes a link to the relevant information in the AKT and KFP information for candidates page
