Clinical courses and refresher training

ADF medical courses listed in Appendix 1 are pre-approved by the RACGP and may count towards both GP and EST terms as below:

• GPT1, 2 and 3: up to two weeks per term
• EST: up to 13 weeks

To have a course recognised:

1. Submit an Application for ADF registrar courses, deployments and exercises within Australia. Pre-approval is required before you start the course.
2. Provide documented evidence of satisfactory course completion for final approval.

Other individual courses and training may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
