GP training placement maps

If you’re a current GP in training on the Australian General Practice Training Program, you can use the following maps to help make your GP placement preferences.

You can access information about relevant training locations requirements and training location commitments in your region in the AGPT Training Location Requirements and Training Location Commitments Schedule.

Incentivised placements

When considering your placement options, remember to also review the incentivised site list. Incentivised placements attract between $5,000 to $45,000 in subsidies per 6 months term.  Funds can be used towards a range of expenses including (and not limited to, relocation, rent, childcare/education, additional training, personal care/respite travel, and internet connectivity.
