Applications to the Australia General Practice Training (AGPT) Program generally open from March to April annually. This is our primary intake, with training places across all training regions and pathways available for application.

Subsequent intakes may be held later in the year, pending training place availability.

Information about 2028 AGPT Program, including application dates, will be available on our website from mid to late November 2026. We encourage you to express your interest in the 2028 AGPT Program to receive updates as soon as information becomes available.
