General Practice Experience Pathway – Exam Eligibility
Practice Experience Program – Specialist Stream Partially Comparable Exam Eligibility
PEP Standard and FSP registrars must submit a complete GPE application by 5:00pm (AEDT) Monday 27 January 2025 to receive an outcome advising whether they meet the experience requirements to enrol for the 2025.2 AKT and KFP.
Applications submitted after this date will not be guaranteed an outcome in time to enrol. Declining to address feedback will result in a delayed outcome.
The
KFP format has been updated to remove handwritten responses. The first Self-Assessment Progress Testing (SAPT) with the updated KFP format will be released on 10 March and a half-length practice exam will be emailed to enrolled candidates approximately six weeks before the exam. My candidacy
All candidates who enrol in a Fellowship exam after 1 January 2019 have three years to complete their candidacy. If you have enrolled in an exam since 2019.1, you can track your journey to Fellowship in the ‘My candidacy portal’.

Important: The CCE is delivered across two consecutive weekends. Candidates will be allocated one exam session in the first weekend, and one session in the second weekend.

Payment is made online at the time of enrolment via credit card.
Financial hardship
Candidates are encouraged to enrol into an examination as soon as possible after enrolments open, and to not wait until the end of the enrolment period. Any candidate experiencing financial hardship may make a request for an alternative payment arrangement by submitting an Application for Special Consideration for Financial Hardship via email to examinations@racgp.org.au.
