Module 1 - Safer Opioid prescribing
ONLINE TRAINING

RACGP Victoria is offering online training with information and strategies for safer prescribing opioids. This training is a prerequisite for prescribers who want to attend MATOD Module 2.

Prescribers must be registered with AHPRA to be eligible for this training.

RACGP Victoria is hosting a free afternoon (2-4pm) interactive session for GPs about the new online QI&CPD Planning Learning and Need activity (PLAN).

PLAN is an online activity designed to assist you to map out and document your learning needs. It is an optional activity for the 2017-19 triennium which can be used to meet the Category 1 Quality Improvement (QI) activity requirement.

After a brief overview, we will provide hands on assistance so you will need to bring your own device (laptop, tablet or ipad) to use during the session.

This activity is suitable for GPs who have yet to start or have just started PLAN.

RACGP Victoria is offering an education session on MATOD for prescribers with a need to prescribe pharmacotherapy for patients with opioid dependence.

Attendees must be actively practising in Victoria, have completed the online Module 1 and be registered with AHPRA prior to registering for this session.

This activity is funded by the Victorian Government.

This education is an interactive session presented by MATOD specialist GPs accredited for 40 Category 1 QI&CPD points for the 2017-2019 triennium.

Intermediate Clinical Emergency Mgt Program - Melbourne

This one day highly interactive workshop focuses on recognition and management of medical emergencies in general practice, including acute coronary syndrome, acute asthma, anaphylaxis and effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which meets the 2017-19 triennium basic CPR course requirement.
