Women commonly use complementary medicines for common health conditions, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menopause and dysmenorrhoea.
This active learning module (ALM) aims to increase your confidence in managing menstrual disorders, PCOS and menopause according to the latest best practice recommendations. You will receive information to provide women with the best available evidence on efficacy and/or effectiveness of complementary and integrative therapies to facilitate an informed decision. This workshop will ensure GPs are familiar with potential adverse events relating to commonly used complementary medicines.

CPR Course for GPs - North Sydney

This course is designed to provide GPs with the necessary Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) knowledge and skills as required in the 2017 - 19 RACGP QI&CPD triennium. These RACGP courses are nationally accredited and presented by ReViva First Aid. Certificates in CPR are issued on completion of the respective course.
Intermediate Clinical Emergency Mgt Program - Newcastle
This one day highly interactive workshop focuses on recognition and management of medical emergencies in general practice, including acute coronary syndrome, acute asthma, anaphylaxis and effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which meets the 2017-19 triennium basic CPR course requirement. It also meets the basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) training requirements for general practice registrars and RACGP Fellowship.

Skin cancer essentials is RACGP NSW&ACT workshop designed to upskill GPs in assessing and managing skin cancers in the general practice setting. The workshop provides practical learning experiences in dermoscopy, and a variety of biopsy and suturing techniques to equip GPs with the necessary skills to safely assess and manage their patients with skin cancers.
This workshop has been approved for a one-day Surgery grant.
