Fees, terms and conditions, cancellation/refund policy

All prices quoted include GST.

A: Full certificate	Pay for all courses upfront - 25 online courses, dermatological surgery workshop & clinical experience and receive complimentary course textbooks. Note DermCert 4 must be completed prior to the workshop. Clinical experience must be completed after all other course modules and the Dermatological surgery workshop. Rural and remote GPs may be eligible for a procedural skills grant for the Dermatological surgery workshop. B: Pay as you go	Pay for courses individually. Note DermCert 4 must be completed prior to the workshop. Terms and conditions

Participants undertaking the full certificate have 3 years to complete the full program from the date of receipt of payment. Participants who are unable to meet this timeframe may contact the Dermatology Program Officer (email dermcert@racgp.org.au) or freecall 1800 472 247) and submit a Request for Special Consideration for Extension.
Once a module is completed the CPD hours will be credited to the participants CPD account. Access to the module will remain in the participants gplearning account for a period of two years post completion. Participants will be able to review the content at any time during this period. A reminder email notice when 6 months access is remaining will be emailed to the participant.
Associated program costs with attending the face-to-face courses such as travel, accommodation and other materials are to be covered by the registrant.
Registration in the program will be confirmed upon payment of the relevant course fees to the RACGP.
Participants are required to complete DermCert 4: Practical procedures in dermatology before the Dermatological surgery workshop.
Participants are only eligible to undertake the Clinical experience after they have completed the 25 online courses and the 2 day face to face dermatological surgery workshop.
Participants are required to review the terms and conditions and cancellation/refund policy prior to registering and to acknowledge acceptance of these conditions during the registration process.
This certificate is not included in the RACGP membership package.
The Delegate Terms and Conditions also apply, however if there is any inconsistency then these terms and conditions will prevail.

Cancellation and refund policy

Option A	Where a full course refund is approved, a fee of $1400 will be deducted from the total to cover textbooks and administration. The remainder of the refund will be the cost of any courses not accessed (as stipulated in the fee schedule). Textbook(s) remain the property of the participant.
Option B	Pay for courses individually	No refund of fees will be made once you have been enrolled in an online course.
	Workshop packages	DermCert 4 not accessed $600 withdrawal fee if a written request is received at least 20 working days before the workshop date. No refund if a request is received less than 20 working days before the workshop date. DermCert 4 accessed $1400 withdrawal fee if a written request is received at least 20 working days before the workshop date. No refund if a request is received less than 20 working days before the workshop date.
	2 day Dermatological surgery workshop	$600 withdrawal fee if a written request is received at least 20 working days before the commencement date. No refund if a request is received less than 20 working days before the commencement date.
	Half day Introduction to dermoscopy workshop	$90 withdrawal fee if a written request is received at least 20 working days before the commencement date. No refund if a request is received less than 20 working days before the commencement date.

All prices include GST.

A full refund of fees will be payable when an offer of placement is withdrawn or in the unlikely event a college is unable to provide any components of the program.
No refund of fees will be made if the certificate is not completed within 3 years from the date that you have accessed your first online course.
All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Dermatology Program Officer by email at dermcert@racgp.org.au
To appeal a refund decision, the registrant must write to the Dermatology Program Officer by email at dermcert@racgp.org.au within 10 working days of the date that their cancellation is processed (being the date notified by email or if there is no available email, by post to the registrant by or on behalf of the Dermatology Program Officer). In the event of an appeal, the registrant will be required to submit a statutory declaration to the Dermatology Program Officer for consideration. The statutory declaration must include:
- the name and address of the registrant.
- information which fully addresses the circumstances and case for a refund. The statutory declaration must also be witnessed by a Justice of the Peace, proclaimed policy officer or commissioner for taking affidavits. The statutory declaration signatory list is available online.
Any request, appeal or notification under these terms will be deemed to have been received:
- if sent by email, when transmitted by the sender unless the sender receives a message from its internet service provider or the recipient’s mail server indicating that it has not been successfully transmitted; or
- if sent by post, two (2) business days after the date of posting
