RACGP and RDAA Medical Student Bursary

Applications open 1 March – 8 April 2026


What’s involved?

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) are offering 10 bursaries valued up to $1,000 to support medical students undertaking a rural general practice placement.

The bursary can be used to cover costs such as travel, accommodation, meals and education relating to the placement.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible to apply:

  • You must be a domestic or international medical student enrolled at an Australian medical school
