Best-practice Guide to Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health approved as an Accepted Clinical Resource.

The Guide, produced by a Melbourne University Consortium, was developed as part of the Let’s CHAT (Community Health Approaches To) Dementia Research Project.  It includes  key cultural principles in the translation of clinical evidence into recommendations on health promotion and prevention, detection and management of cognitive impairment and dementia, including recommendations about care at the end of life, and carer health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.


This resource is accepted by the RACGP.
