Investment in patient care through general practice is needed to ensure the health system is supported to meet current and future health needs. It will also reinforce general practice as a sustainable and attractive career path for future doctors, future-proofing the provision of patient care in the community.
The RACGP has prepared a pre-budget submission for the upcoming 2023 Federal Budget. In this submission, we have identified measures in several priority areas that are key to supporting high-quality, cost-effective and person-centred care for every Australian into the future.
