The RACGP opposes both the down scheduling of Budesonide from Schedule 4 to Schedule 3, and changes to amendments to the Schedule 4 entry for hydroxypinacolone retinoate. Our response highlights the GP’s role and why it is inappropriate for pharmacists to prescribe these medications.
