The RACGP provided a submission to the Health and Environment Committee’s Inquiry into the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022.
This legislation is the result of several years of work to make improvements to the National Law.
In this submission, the RACGP restates our concerns with some of the proposed amendments, particularly in relation to actions before investigation process complete, and highlights the risks to the sustainability of the general practice workforce as a result of regulatory processes.
