The RACGP has provided a response to the Consultation for the Australian Digital Health Agency Cyber Security Strategy Summary.
In the response, the RACGP calls for expansion of the use of current national infrastructure to create more streamlined and secure access to digital health technologies.

To support privacy and cyber security, the RACGP encourage the Australian Digital Health Agency to play a key role in providing ongoing support and resources to healthcare peak bodies and individual healthcare business, including general practice. Awareness raising of cyber security challenges and education resources must be regularly updated for general practitioners (GPs) and other members of the practice team, ensuring they are aware of changes to the cybersecurity threat landscape.
