The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners welcomes the opportunity to comment on the development of the Therapeutic Goods Administration's TGO-110 Standard. From 1st October 2021 consumers will require a doctor's prescription to import vaporiser nicotine into Australia.

The RACGP supports the development of minimum quality and safety criteria for unapproved vaporiser nicotine products. However, there is concern about the lack of any standards or regulation for vaping devices.
