Date: 28 May 2021

Uptake and adoption of digital technologies in healthcare is inconsistent throughout medical education pathways, different medical specialities, and the career continuum.

To address the need for digital capability throughout the medical field, the Australian Medical Council and Australian Digital Health Agency have developed a proposed capability framework for how the continuum of medical education can produce a digitally capable medical workforce in Australia and New Zealand.

The RACGP recognises the need for improved digital literacy and uptake across the medical continuum and provided feedback, responding to the consultation survey questions.
