The RACGP has written to PBAC requesting the addition of certain oral medications to the PBS Prescriber Bag to manage acute and urgent pre-hospital treatment for heart failure, urinary tract infections and cellulitis. These are common issues which, when untreated, lead to significant numbers of hospitalisations in Australia.
