The Federal Government released the Terms of Reference (ToR) and Issues paper for the Productivity Commission’s Inquiry into Mental Health (Inquiry). The Inquiry will consider how mental illness can affect all aspects of a person’s quality of life, including physical health, social participation, education, employment and financial status.
The RACGP submitted a response that highlighted the important role of general practice and general practitioners in the prevention, diagnosis and management of patients with mental health-related illnesses.
