AGPT registrars can commence applying to practices for the 2025.2 placement round through the Training Management System (TMS) from Monday, 28 April. Due to this, we are anticipating higher-than-usual traffic to our TMS. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Reference Group was established in 2018 to make recommendations to the MBS Review Taskforce on MBS items relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.

The RACGP is broadly supportive of the report’s recommendations, which will lead to evidence-based, culturally safe, coordinated care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Some of the RACGP’s previous recommendations to the Reference Group have not been incorporated, and some recommendations require further amendments. These are outlined in our commentary on individual recommendations in the submission.
