AGPT registrars can commence applying to practices for the 2025.2 placement round through the Training Management System (TMS) from Monday, 28 April. Due to this, we are anticipating higher-than-usual traffic to our TMS. The RACGP was invited to provide a submission to the inquiry into The Criminal Code and Other Legislation Amendment (Removing Commonwealth Restrictions on Cannabis) Bill 2018.

The RACGP noted that any attempts to legalise the use of recreational cannabis should not and must not be confused with the use of medicinal cannabis in certain patients under strictly controlled circumstances.
