The Cancer Council Australia sought feedback on the draft clinical practice guideline for surveillance colonoscopy. The target population for this guide excludes asymptomatic people for whom screening is appropriate.

The RACGP provided some general comments on the guide, relating to accessibility of information to GPs and the importance of including a number of patient centred considerations when considering stopping surveillance colonoscopy.
