The RACGP provides comments to the Department of Health on the proposed guideline topics and research questions for Stage II of the Pregnancy Care Guidelines. The RACGP's response addresses the usefulness, relevance and appropriateness of the proposed questions, provides amendments to questions and additional questions and includes a rationale for the inclusion of new questions on some of the review topics, including:
- weight and body mass index
- syphilis
- chlamydia
- anaemia
- diabetes
- cervical screening.
