The Australian Parliament's House Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport has invited submissions on its consultation on Inquiry into the use, marketing, health impacts, and regulation of E-cigarettes and personal vaporisers in Australia.
The RACGP has a strong interest in smoking cessation and has developed guidelines and resources to assist GPs in meeting this objective. Our comments relate to the Terms of Reference: the use and marketing of E-cigarettes and personal vaporisers to assist people to quit smoking; and the health impacts of the use of E-cigarettes and personal vaporisers.
