AGPT registrars can commence applying to practices for the 2025.2 placement round through the Training Management System (TMS) from Monday, 28 April. Due to this, we are anticipating higher-than-usual traffic to our TMS. The RACGP believes that the process of development of the practice guidelines appears to be sound and the recommendations are appropriate.

The RACGP thanks Cancer Council Australia and Melanoma Institute Australia for the opportunity to provide comment on their Draft Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Melanoma (Features of melanoma, Biopsy, Sentinel Node Biopsy, Excision Margins).
