AGPT registrars can commence applying to practices for the 2025.2 placement round through the Training Management System (TMS) from Monday, 28 April. Due to this, we are anticipating higher-than-usual traffic to our TMS. The Council of Australian Governments Health Council has commissioned an independent National Review of Medical Intern Training.

The review’s purpose is to examine the current medical internship model and consider potential reforms to support medical graduate transition into practice and further training.
