AGPT registrars can commence applying to practices for the 2025.2 placement round through the Training Management System (TMS) from Monday, 28 April. Due to this, we are anticipating higher-than-usual traffic to our TMS. The Medical Board of Australia released a Public Consultation Paper and Regulation Impact Statement in March 2015 on registered medical practitioners who provide cosmetic medical and surgical procedures.

The key purpose of this paper is to identify whether additional safeguards are needed and if so at what level. The paper presents four possible options regarding a solution.
