Associate Professor Harry Jacobs


Harry Jacobs was a Mackay, North Queensland GP and practice owner for 32 years before retirement and moving to the Sunshine Coast.

Harry continues clinical work as a locum GP with extensive experience in student and registrar teaching and assessment since the 1980s - working for FMP, RACGPTP, RTPs and RTOs. Harry is as an adjunct Associate Professor at James Cook University College of Medicine & Dentistry, having served for a decade as Head of the JCU Mackay Clinical School. Harry has examined in every FRACGP exam for the last 30 years and has conducted approximately 960 GP practice accreditation visits for AGPAL.
