Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)BCEC is one of the best events venues in Brisbane and named the World’s Best Convention Centre 2016-2018. Set in the heart of South Bank, the 63rd Clinical Update will take over the Boulevard level with lectures throughout a series of rooms incorporating LED lit ceilings and a spacious outdoor terrace for our networking event.

Public Transport

Getting to BCEC via public transport is easy and efficient with bus, ferry and train options available. More information about planning your journey via public transport can be found on the TransLink website.
 

Train

South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street or South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
 

Bus services

The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station cnr of Colchester and Tribune Streets are closest to BCEC.
 

Citycat & ferries

The public transport ferries CityCats operate everyday and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminal 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade.
 

Taxi

Taxi ranks are located outside the main entrance to the Centre on Merivale Street and a taxi drop off located at the Convention Centre Grey Street entrance.

Rideshare apps, such as Uber, enable you to connect with a ride. The driver will pick you up from your selected location and payment is cashless.
 

Parking

(BCEC) operates a Southbank parking facility for visitors, guests and the general public. The car park is conveniently located undercover with direct lift access to the Centre’s convention and exhibition facilities and event spaces. Further information is here and maximum daily rates are $35.
 

Accommodation

Brisbane offers a wide range of international standard accommodation with five star hotels to serviced apartments options within a kilometer of the BCEC. The weekend of the Clinical Update Conference is an extremely busy time in Brisbane with multiple events taking place. We recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible and looking at options near the Brisbane airport if travelling for the conference.
