NHMRC consultation on: Assessing the direct-to-consumer (DTC) genetic testing of your patient – a quick guide for general practitioners

The RACGP supports the statement "that health-related genetic testing should be conducted in an accredited Australian laboratory with professional involvement and support" but we believe an explanation as to why the NHMRC has made this recommendation would strengthen the document.
