2014 edition – Thursday evening pre-exam tutorial series on DVD
RACGP NSW&ACT and RACGP Rural are pleased to offer the 2014 edition of the popular Thursday evening pre-exam tutorial series. The series is a 17 week course run by the NSW&ACT faculty. The DVDs are a useful and informative resource for GPs, international medical graduates, general practice registrars and students.
There are 10 DVDs which can be ordered as a set or individually, and are discounted to RACGP members.

Clinical skills scenarios DVD – cases for GP educators and learners
Are you interested in clinical learning tools to aid your preparation?
RACGP Rural offers a preparatory DVD for general practice registrars and other doctors in rural locations working toward their Fellowship of the RACGP.
The DVD contains 14 cases covering a range of clinical scenarios common across a well identified range of rural contexts. Each scenario deals with a different type of presentation, from a farmer with a cough to a full blown arm laceration, as well as associated office based procedures. The DVD runs for approximately 3 hours.
There is a PDF folder on the DVD which can be accessed via your PC’s DVD drive, and contains additional notes about each case.
Society of Rural Physicians of Canada: Manual of rural practice
This manual has practical approaches to many of the procedures that a rural doctor may provide.
