Cultural Awareness - GPLearning Online Module
The Introduction to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Awareness Active Learning Module (ALM) will introduce you to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and health needs and assists in improving the care delivery provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
This 6 hour activity is a Category 1 40 point module which is available via gplearning. This module is free for RACGP members. Non-members can access it for a fee of $179.00. Identification of Patients - GpLearning Clinical Audit
Identification of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Patients in General Practice is a clinical audit activity which aims to identify, with the use of existing medical record software, the proportion of patients who have been recorded as being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander origin and enable a review of the accuracy of these records. The audit process provides strategies to ensure the routine and effective identifies Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, and consequently improve the provision of appropriately targeted, high quality care for them.

Improving Renal Disease Outcomes - GpLearning Clinical Audit
Improving renal disease outcomes in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Patients is a clinical audit activity which aims to identify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults with Chronic Kidney Disease with the use of existing medical record software. The audit process will allow participants to then select five of patients to develop and implement strategies to assist them and other patients to improve their renal function and slow or prevent the progression to end stage kidney disease, cardiovascular disease or stroke.
