Starting out in private practice workshop
The Victoria Faculty New Fellows Committee hosted the Starting out in private practice workshop on Sunday 25th March 2012, which was held at the RACV City Club in Melbourne CBD.

08/12/2010Victoria Faculty Awards Ceremony 2010
Over 350 people attended the RACGP Victoria Faculty Fellowship and Awards Ceremony on Sunday 28 November in the Members’ Dining Room at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. There were witness to 91 newly ratified Fellows be admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. The ceremony also saw 18 Life Member trophies be presented.

A short term adverse reaction has occurred at the time of vaccination with the H1N1 pandemic vaccine in a person with an allergy to latex. However, the true cause of this event has not been determined and is currently being investigated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration through their normal process.

09/07/2009The Victoria Faculty officially launches the Face to Face: Challenging Cases in Medical Practice DVD
The Victoria Faculty was thrilled to officially launch the DVD Face to Face: Challenging Cases in Medical Practice at the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria offices in Melbourne on Thursday 18th June. The DVD developed with financial support from the Department of Human Services (Victoria) and in conjunction with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria (MPBV), features general practitioners in consultation with patients (played by actors) in a range of common and challenging scenarios.
