We would like a VR GP to replace a female member of our 7 doctor team, retiring to travel in April. We combine an excellent traditional practice with the best of nursing support and full computerisation of all aspects of practice using Best Practice software. Our aim is to provide quality family medicine and chronic disease management at the highest level. Our facilities include 4 large consult rooms, 2 work rooms, 2 specific nurse rooms. Current room availability is for 3 1/2 days per week.

GPs wanted for Influenza Surveillance – CPD points available for 2011-13 triennium

ASPREN is the national influenza and infectious diseases surveillance system which acts as an early warning system in the event of an influenza. GPs in the Greater Launceston, George Town, Burnie, Davenport and all remote areas are required. Benefits include payments of up to $1,000pa, and priority laboratory testing of influenza samples during a pandemic. Data submission is automated using the Canning Flu Tool. Sign up by May 31 to be eligible for up to 80 category 1 points and 10 category 2 points for the 2011-13 triennium.
