RACGP Standards for general practices

Eligibility

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has endorsed three threshold requirements for the purpose of determining whether a particular practice or health service is eligible to be accredited against the RACGP Standards for general practices (4th edition). All three requirements must be met and are as follows:

  1. The practice or health service operates within the model of general practice described in the RACGP definition of general practice

  2. The practice or health service is capable of meeting all mandatory indicators in the RACGP Standards for general practices (4th edition)

  3. The majority of services delivered by the practice or health service are provided by general practitioners with suitable medical qualifications and training.I
