RACGP Standards for general practices
Eligibility
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has endorsed three threshold requirements for the purpose of determining whether a particular practice or health service is eligible to be accredited against the RACGP Standards for general practices (4th edition). All three requirements must be met and are as follows:
- The practice or health service operates within the model of general practice described in the RACGP definition of general practice
- The practice or health service is capable of meeting all mandatory indicators in the RACGP Standards for general practices (4th edition)
- The majority of services delivered by the practice or health service are provided by general practitioners with suitable medical qualifications and training.I
