| Description: | Speaker: Dr Hugh Grantham, Director, SA Ambulance Services. The general aim of this new course is to: - Refresh existing emergency skills - Learn new skills such as defibrillation. Specific topics covered will be: - IV Insertion - Airway management including laryngeal mask - Rhythm recognition and defibrillation - First line emergency drug therapy for adrenalin, naloxone, atropine, amiodarone and opiate analgesia |
