The College continues to strive to better support general practice registrars during their training and Fellowship preparation. In addition to the benefits provided in the 2011-2012 membership package for Australian registered GPs, the College provides a range of additional resources to make it easier for you to provide high quality patient care. From 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012, you can access all the benefits of RACGP Registrar membership, plus additional resources for only $310 (incl GST).

AMH Online*

AMH OnlineAMH Online will be accessible to RACGP Registrar members via the 2011 PrimaryCare Sidebar® and gives on screen access to Australian Medicines Handbook (AMH), which supplies evidence based information to support prescribing decisions.

Widely recognised as the independent, evidence based, national drug reference tool, Australian Medicines Handbook (AMH) identifies the usage of medications, alternatives and clinically accepted practice in Australia.

AMH provides clinical and pharmacological advice at point-of-care. It is the only drug based reference handbook recommended by the Australian Government and is an important clinical resource for GPs and other prescribers concerned with the quality use of medicines.

  • Online - login to the RACGP website and pay for your membership online
  • Phone - call 1800 331 626 from 9:00am to 5:00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday, and pay by one of the following accepted credit cards:
  • Fax - fax your membership payment with credit card details to 03 8699 0489.
  • BPay – use Biller Code: 221606 and Reference # as stated on your membership tax invoice.
  • Cheque or money order - make the cheque or money order payable to "The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners" and mail it to:
