Additional benefits for Registrar members in 2012-2013
For the 2012-2013 financial year, RACGP Registrar members will receive these FREE additional resources:
AMH Online
will be accessible to RACGP Registrar members and gives on screen
access to Australian Medicines
Handbook (AMH), which supplies evidence based information to
support prescribing decisions.
Widely recognised as the independent, evidence based, national drug reference tool, Australian Medicines Handbook (AMH) identifies the usage of medications, alternatives and clinically accepted practice in Australia.
AMH provides clinical and pharmacological advice at point-of-care. It is the only drug based reference handbook recommended by the Australian Government and is an important clinical resource for GPs and other prescribers concerned with the quality use of medicines.
Valued at $160
* 12 month subscription to AMH Online is available to Registrar members who renew their membership or join the RACGP for the full 2012-2013 financial year
Resources for NEW Registrar members
In addition to AMH Online, new Registrar members who join the RACGP during 2012-2013 will also receive these FREE additional resources (our renewing Registrar members received these resources previously):

Regaining trust after an adverse event is a three step education system on managing adverse events in general practice. The workbook and module help to sharpen your communication skills as a means of restoring relationships when things go wrong. The poster provides a visual representation of the key management principles and can act as a quick reference tool at point-of-care.
Limited print edition.
Medicolegal handbook for general practice highlights
the legal implications of the practice of medicine. Case studies are
used to highlight issues associated with patient confidentiality,
consent, medication error and more. The handbook provides useful risk
management strategies to manage medicolegal issues and emphasises the
importance of caution and vigilance during daily clinical practice.
