The RACGP Standards for general practices (4th edition) are designed to keep Australian general practice at the heart of an effective and efficient Australian health care system. The Standards are based on a framework of clinical governance - a framework which ultimately ensures all members of the general practice team are accountable for patient safety and high quality clinical care delivered through their practice.
The RACGP Infection prevention and control standards for general practices and other office-based and community-based practices (5th edition) (the RACGP Infection prevention and control standards) was published in May 2014. It is intended as a guide to assist health professionals and other staff implementing procedures involving infection prevention and control.
