This year’s RACGP Conference for General Practice – GP15 – is set to be a great success, with more than 1400 attendees assembling at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The conference provides an opportunity for RACGP members and other healthcare professionals to come together to develop collegiality, access learning opportunities and celebrate the achievements of general practice.
‘GP15 is a highlight of the RACGP’s calendar and this year’s program will not disappoint,’ RACGP President Dr Frank R Jones told Good Practice. ‘The conference is a wonderful opportunity for GPs across the country to come together and, not only build on their clinical knowledge and expertise, but network with colleagues and share their experiences and ideas.’
The conference theme, ‘Our future in practice’, explores ideas and topics that will inspire and encourage GPs to look ahead and consider their impact on patients and communities.
‘I hope the conference gets delegates thinking about the future of general practice and how we as GPs can work towards creating a sustainable model of general practice, one in which our patients’ wellbeing is at the core,’ Dr Jones said.
Good Practice will attend each day of the conference, providing daily updates and reports published here in a special online edition.
