Trainer Training Program - Guidance for Trainers
This training program has been developed in response to recent amendments to the Commonwealth Privacy Act in relation to the handling of personal information by private sector organisations. It has been designed to assist medical practitioners to comply with the new law through the application of best practice. This approach will ensure that practitioners will be in compliance with the Commonwealth and any similar State information privacy laws.
The workshop is designed to introduce practitioners to key information privacy concepts and to familiarise them with the available resources – the Privacy Kit. It is designed for health professionals and practice managers in the private health sector in Australia.
The Introduction for Trainers is intended for use as a preamble when training trainers to deliver the workshop.
