MyGeneralPractice & MyPracticeTeam desktops
After consulting with our members about their resource requirements we are pleased to announce that we will be upgrading the MyGeneralPractice (MyGP) and MyPracticeTeam (MyPT) portals. As of 1 October 2009, MyGP will be merged with MyPT to create a new web-based resource that will serve as an extensive and growing resource centre for our GP, practice manager and practice nurse members.
You will still be able to access patient handouts, calculators and dermatology resources, an extensive list of popular evidence - based clinical resources and quick links to RACGP's online resources and services. Complimenting these features will be a new range of high quality and relevant information, tools and resources. Most importantly, your experience using the new MyGP will be easier, faster and more relevant.
Using a three phased process , the resource will be improved and expanded over the next 18 months. This new version will supersede the downloadable version currently available and will run equally well on PCs, Macs and Linux platforms. From this date you can access MyGP either via the RACGP website or directly at www.mygeneralpractice.org.au. You will then be able to log in using your RACGP website login ID.
Please note that from 1 October, you will no longer be able to log in to the old MyGP or MyPT. To avoid confusion we recommend that you uninstall the old version at this time. You can do this as follows:
- Preferred method: Go to Start Menu then Control
Panel, click on Add/Remove programs, select VIVIDESK
Client, click 'Remove'.
- Alternate method: Go to http://web.cche.net/clint/install/client/vividesk_uninstall.exe
and follow the instructions.
