  • GP Support Program – Free confidential counselling and support service available to all Australian RACGP members who are registered medical practitioners. Members can access face-to-face and telephone counselling during business hours or counselling for traumatic incidents or crisis situations 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • College classifieds - an online advertising service to find GPs, locums, practice staff and practices valued at over $300.
  • National call centre and member helpline – a freecall service from anywhere in Australia, and other service-specific helplines.

Education services

The RACGP Education Department develops and maintains the standards for quality practice, education and research in Australian general practice. From undergraduate education to early postgraduate years, general practice registrar training, pathways to RACGP Fellowship, and the continuing professional development of general practitioners within the RACGP QA&CPD Program, the college is committed to supporting members’ ongoing educational requirements.
