The RACGP develops and maintains the standards for GP training and education (from undergraduate education to early postgraduate years and beyond) and as such offers a range of education services and products to assist GPs in upholding these standards, maintaining their professional development, and with their day-to-day patient care.
The RACGP has invested in quality training and assessment of education providers, developing procedures, and expanding the breadth of education providers to make your professional development even easier in 2010.
New active learning modules related to the extracurricular work that
many of our participants are already undertaking have been introduced.
This makes it more convenient for you to meet your professional
development requirements and includes teaching medical students and
supervising registrars. Other features of the QA&CPD service include
easy access to credit point statements and a useful online planning
calendar.

Valued at $423 per annum, this service is free for RACGP members*.
The check Program is the college's iconic monthly
self education program, which is now available in an interactive online
format. Written by expert clinicians, check focuses on
a new topic each month and presents a range of clinical cases. Each unit
contains an online Category 2 activity and you can also choose to
complete a Category 1 active learning module.

Valued at $269 per annum, this service is free for RACGP members*.
Developed by a team of medical educators, gplearning brings you the best and most relevant general practice education. RACGP members receive access to more than 300 Category 1 and Category 2 gplearning activities. With access available 24/7, gplearning is a great service for time poor GPs or those who experience difficulties accessing high quality education. Visit www.gplearning.com.au.
Valued at $365 per annum, gplearning is a free service for RACGP members.
If you prefer face-to-face education, you can participate in a range
of workshops, delivered by the RACGP faculties. This includes our
Clinical Emergency Management TM Program which enables you to meet the
CPR requirements for the QA&CPD triennium. The RACGP's annual
conference also enables you to undertake professional development
through various workshops,as well as enjoy networking and socialising
with colleagues from around Australia . RACGP members receive discounts
on college workshops and our annual conference.

assist you with research and day-to-day patient care. Our experienced
library staff are happy to help you find what you need and to conduct
literature searches for you. RACGP members receive free access to all
